The highlight of the summer!

Welcome to JesusKids 2010 – the highlight of the summer! We are looking forward to seeing old friends again as well as meeting up with new ones.

While the adults are in the Ekeberghallen, the kids get to enjoy the great plains located by the hall. We will arrange memorable days with JesusKids gatherings, games, workshops, excursions and activities for children between the age of 4 and 12.

Program

The days begin with registration of the children before they go to the JesusKids gatherings with their group. Each group consists of six to eight children with their own leader. The groups helps us to create safe environment and stability so that each child is seen and taken care of in a good way. As long as it is possible, the groups will remain the same form the cildren arrive until they leave.

After the JesusKids gatherings there will be activities and workshops on the fields.

On Saturday there will be an excursion to a camp called Lunde for the 9-12 year-olds. We are going to have a great time playing around, barbequing and we might also go for a plunge in the sea – so don’t forget swinning clothes and a towel!

The same day the 4-8 year-olds will participate with some rehearsed elements in an exciting street meeting downtown Oslo, together with the entire Jesus Festival and Jesus Revolution summerteam.

We are also especially excited about the big family meeting on Sunday where the Seven-girls will participate (see www.seven-jentene.com) – a highlight of the festival! Those of the children who would like to participate in the meeting will have the chance to practice during the festival days.

The JesusKids gatherings

The 4-8 year-olds and the 9-12 year-olds will have seperate gatherings with teaching, competitions and activities customized for the specific age-group.

Janne and Kåre Skuland will have an exciting program for the older children. They are known for their interactive and creative sessions with focus on Jesus, emphasizing teaching with relevanse to childrens everyday-life. Janne and Kåre brings a band to the festival form their church Jesushuset (the Jesus House) in Kristiansand. They are coming for the third year in a row and we can promise some real good noise!

Elisabeth Tobiassen will also come this year for the youngest participants. She brings the children along on an exciting journey into the Bible where they can meet Jesus. The teaching will be presented at the childrens premises and there will be much playing, singing and acting. The Helgestads with Julie and Eline are coming together with Elisabeth. They will share of their life, joy and wonderful music!
